NBC 2016 and Vastu, checked on every plan

Both run as the plan is drawn, and both are advisory. A conflict is flagged on the drawing where it happens, with the rule it came from — never as a wall PlanPro refuses to place.

    Minimum room dimensions, habitable-room area, and the openable area a room needs for light and ventilation, checked room by room against the National Building Code.

    The open sides you declare decide where windows, light and setbacks can go. Margins are measured off the plot boundary, not guessed from the envelope.

    The road position sets the entry, the parking and the Vastu read for the whole plan — a north road is favoured. Conflicts are flagged, then it is your call.

    How the quantities are measured

    The bill of quantities states its mode of measurement, so a rate you apply per ft² means the same thing your contractor’s does.
